Queenstown Airport car park are situated directly outside the main terminal
of the airport. Long and short term parking options are available. The parking
facilities are fully automated, accessible 24/7 and monitored by security
cameras with fully lit at night.
P2 Drop-Off Zone - FREE
For some visitors, a simple ‘pash n dash’ farewell is all you need to say
goodbye to loved ones or friends.
The P2 is located directly outside the departure terminal and is available for
private passenger drop-offs only.
The drop-off zone is not for use by commercial operators.
P20 Express Parking (Pickup & Drop off)
For visits lasting less than 20 minutes, there is no need to hurry in or out of
the airport. The Airport provide priority parking in the specially designated
pick-up/drop-off bays within terminal car park A. These bays are conveniently
located closest to the terminal and clearly marked as P20. As a bonus, the first
20 minutes of parking is absolutely FREE!
If your parking duration is within the 20-minute limit, there is no requirement
to validate your ticket. Simply insert it into the barrier arm machine when you
exit.
However, if you plan to stay longer than 20 minutes, we kindly request that you
park in non-P20 spaces and validate your ticket at the pay station. After
validation, please insert the ticket into the barrier arm machine when leaving
the parking area.
Short & Long Stay Parking (From $25 per day)
At Queenstown Airport, there are currently two terminal car parking areas
available for those seeking parking options exceeding 20 minutes. These areas,
known as Car Parks A and B, offer identical rates and provide the utmost
convenience, being situated right at the terminal for both short-term and
multi-day stays.
Car Park A is conveniently located directly in front of the terminal. In
addition to the express pick-up and drop-off zone occupying the first five bays,
it features four dedicated mobility parking spaces and nearly 300 terminal car
parking spaces.
Car Park B is positioned to the right of the terminal, just a brief 3-5 minute
walk away along the pathway. It is situated directly opposite the rental car
park and offers a total of 77 parking spaces.
Mobility Car Parks
Queenstown Airport provides two dedicated mobility P60 car parks conveniently
located directly outside the airport terminal. These car parks are specifically
designated for individuals picking up or dropping off passengers and are offered
free of charge.
For travelers requiring mobility parking, Car Park A offers four designated
mobility car parks within close proximity to the terminal. These spaces are
provided for your convenience and accessibility during your journey.

At the Terminal
Queenstown Airport accepts cash, credit card or EFTPOS payments for terminal
parking. The pay station is conveniently located on the pathway to the
departures and arrivals area and has three stations that take all major credit
cards and cash. If you have any issues with the pay station, please see a
friendly member of the team at the Airport Information Desk inside the terminal.
Brookes Road Car Park
Payment is made via credit or debit cards. Just tap/ swipe on your way in and
when you exit. No cash payments are accepted.
Tap & Go
Simply tap your credit or Visa debit card to the machine when you enter the
terminal car parks. When you leave tap your card again and your account will
automatically be charged. No need for a paper ticket. Just Tap & Go.
Please note for charges $200 or greater, a pin is required. Please insert your
card to complete the payment. Unfortunately, 'Tap & Go' is not an option in
these instances.
EV Charging
As a Tesla Charging partner, the Airport Management take pride in offering
convenient charging facilities for electric vehicles at Queenstown Airport. The
Airport Management commitment is evident through the provision of six Tesla
Destination Chargers located in Car Park A.
These chargers are compatible with any electric vehicle equipped with a Type 2
charging port or adapter. Utilizing Tesla charging technology, these chargers
can add up to 100km of range per hour of charge, ensuring efficient and reliable
charging for electric vehicle owners.
The Airport Management are pleased to announce that charging services are
currently offered free of charge until June 2023. However, please note that
standard parking rates apply after the date.
