Passengers traveling with Thai Airways can Check-in conveniently with the
check-in options provided as below:
General Check-in Information
Passengers are advised to check in at the airport at least 1 (one) hour before
departure time for domestic departure and 2 (two) hours before departure time
for international departure; however, it is even better to arrive at the airport
earlier than expected.
Online Check-in
You can check-in online for your flights between 24 and 2 hours before your
flight. Online check-in is also available at Thai/Thai Smile Check-in Stations.
Check on the Thai Airways official website for the online check in features.
Kiosk Check-in
The Kiosk check-in is a self service check-in facility available at the airport
in Bangkok, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, London (Heathrow) and Tokyo (Narita). With
the self service check-in, you can:
- Choosing seats up to 12 hours prior to flight departure
- Conveniently drop your bags at dedicated Bag-Drop Counters (Bag-Drop Counters
operating hours may vary at different airports)
Mobile check-in (Thai Airways Mobile Application required)
When you travel out of Bangkok to all destinations, you are allowed either to
print boarding pass from home (Home Print Boarding Pass), receive Mobile
Boarding Pass or Passbook Boarding Pass (iOS operating) only if you hold and
enter proper travel document required to that destination during perform
check-in.
Departing from stations outside Thailand where the Advance Passenger Information
is not required and your proper travel document provided, you are then allowed
to print Home Print Boarding Pass with A4 sized paper.
Counter Check-in
For international travel, Thai Airways recommends you arrive at the airport at
least 2 hours before your flight. Flights close 30 minutes before departure.
Passengers traveling internationally should be at the gate 45 minutes before
departure.
