Each ticketed guest flights with Hawaiian Airlines is permitted one carry-on bag and one personal item. A personal item is a laptop bag, briefcase, purse, or backpack that can fit under the seat in front of you. All carry-on items must meet the following size and weight requirements.

• Must fit under the seat in front of you
• 22 inches x 14 inches x 9 inches / 25 lbs. (11 kg.), Dimensions include the wheels and handles.

Items that exceed size or weight requirements must be checked at check-in. Gate-check is reserved for strollers, car seats, and wheelchairs.

Checked Bag Fees

The fee for checked baggage depends on where you are flying: wholly within the State of Hawaii, between Hawaii and North America (either direction), or Internationally. Additional fees apply for Oversize and Overweight bags.

Where to pay

Bag fees are not pre-paid. Please pay during check-in, online or at the airport.

For flights departing from Australia, Japan, Korea, or New Zealand, checked bag fees are charged in the local currency. The rate for each additional bag after the first two is: 150 AUD, 200 NZD, 15000 JPY, or 150000 KRW, according to the country of departure
