Passengers traveling with China Airlines are welcome to bring:

Carry-On Allowance

Each passenger of China Airlines in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a laptop bag, handbag, or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. Passenger for Business Class is allowed to carry on two bags.

All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. You must be able to lift your carry-on into the overhead storage without assistance. All carry-on bags must adhere to the following requirements:

Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 22 x 14 x 9 in / 56 x 36 x 23 cm (length + width + height) with maximum weight of Carry-on Luggage is 15 lb / 7 kg.

General Checked Baggage Allowance

Fare Class	Checked Baggage
Economy	30 kg
Premium Economy	35 kg
Business	40 kg

For trips from and to the Americas and the U.S. and Canadian territories:

Economy	Each bag's weight may not exceed 50 lbs (23 kg)	2 pieces
Premium Economy	Each bag's weight may not exceed 61 lbs (28 kg)	2 pieces
Business	Each bag's weight may not exceed 70 lbs (32 kg)	2 pieces

Note:

The sum of each bag's three dimensions may not exceed 62 inches (158 cm)
The sum of two bags' three dimensions may not exceed 107 inches (273 cm)

Excess Baggage Charges

Any baggage exceeding the checked baggage allowance shall be charged per kg, the fees started from as low as US$6.00 per kg based on zones travelling to and from. Please see zones 1 to 6 on China Airlines website baggage exceeding information page for more details.

Sports Equipment
