Passengers traveling with Air China can Check-in conveniently with the check-in
options provided as below:

Online Check-in
Adult passengers with tickets on Air China-operated flights or e-tickets on
flights on which Air China shares its code with Shenzhen Airlines, Shandong
Airlines or Tibet Airlines can check-in online via Air China Website.
For the time being, special passengers including VIP passengers, ill and injured
passengers, disabled passengers, pregnant women, children, elders traveling
alone and passengers with special service requests do not. If you check online
through a thirty party online platform (which is not an Air China channel), Air
China cannot guarantee that you will have access to the other services which you
would otherwise deserve. (Adults can complete online check-in for themselves and
up to two children on the same itinerary and in the same booking class. Adults
must cancel check-in for accompanying children before they can cancel
themselves. Children cannot check in on their own.)
Family online check-in is only available for flights operated by Air China.
The online check-in times differ according to airports. Most of the
international airports available from 36 hours to 2 hours before departures.
Before departure: Boarding passes can be reprinted through the Air China website
up to an hour before departure; After departure: Boarding passes can be
reprinted through the Air China website from 48 hours up to 60 days after
departure; Currently, boarding passes cannot be reprinted more than 60 days
after departure. To protect passenger privacy, Air China only supports
reprinting boarding passes for Air China-operated flights.
Self-Service Check-in
For Air China, Self-Service Check-In Kiosks are currently available at Osaka,
Tokyo (Narita and Haneda Airport), Frankfurt, London (Heathrow Airport), Nagoya,
Stockholm, Vancouver, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul (Incheon Airport). The
boarding pass can be printed at the Kiosks.
You can check your baggage at an airport check-in counter after completed your
Self-Service Check-In at kiosks.
The Self-Service Check-In times differ according to airports. Most of the
international airports available from 34 hours to 1 hour before departures.
Self-service check-in devices can only be used for Air China-operated flights.
Airport Counter Check-in
Passengers should arrive at the airport before the minimum check-in time. Please
bring your valid passport, visas, and other necessary travel documents that you
used during the purchase of your ticket. If you purchase your ticket on Air
China Global Website by credit card, please bring your credit card along with
you as well. Be sure to complete all check-in and exit requirements in advance.
The check-in counter closes 45 minutes before the flight departure time. For
flights originating from Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, the minimum check-in
time is 45 minutes. The check-in closure time for most other Chinese airports is
30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
However, to make sure that you have enough time to go through the security,
please arrive three hours prior to departure for international flights and 90
minutes for domestic flights.
